Summer in Paris Paris fr

Paris? It’s a whole world in one city! Each of its neighbourhoods can be explored as a different country, from the village of Montmartre, to the Latin Quarter, through to the cradle of the Île de la Cité. Paris is a permanent celebration of culture, as well as gastronomy. Let´s go…

The  summer sales 2019 will start on Wednesday, 26th June at 8 am and will end on Tuesday 6th August.

Our shopping suggestions:

  • Just 35 minutes east of Paris, La Vallée Village hosts more than 120 prestigious brands offering their stylish products from previous seasons’ collections at reduced prices. It's easy to come with the 2 daily departures at 9.30 and 12.30 of the Shopping Express shuttle from the centre of Paris.
  • Haussmann-Saint-Lazare-Opéra is historic shopping district of Paris and leading urban commercial centre. It is home to major department stores, and new shops regularly open here.
  • Around famous butte (hill) of Montmartre and Sacré-Coeur, there are lots of opportunities to shop in small boutiques: shoes, handbags, atypical tableware, jewellery and accessories, clothes, design furniture and also art galleries, vintage boutiques, cafes and delightful delicatessen shops are a must.

A great summer event Festival Paris l´été: 12.7.-3.8. 2019

Since 1990, this summer festival in Paris has been putting on outdoor entertainment in Paris and in a dozen or so other towns in the Paris region. During the event, the public can attend free (or moderately-priced) performances of dance, theatre, concerts and circus that are held close to monuments, parks and sometimes indoors. In total, more than 70 performances in some thirty different locations.

Paris Plages: July - September 2019

The Paris riverbanks take on the look of a seaside resort with parasols, deckchairs, palm trees ... everything you need to enjoy summer living at 2 main locations: the Parc Rives de Seine and the La Villette canal basin. There are lots of activities for grown-ups and kids: bathing and water sports at La Villette canal basin, as well as workshops for kids, board games, books, exhibitions, plus lots of sports-related events linked to Paris's bid for the 2024 Olympic Games. And if the weather’s hot, you can cool off at one of the onsite open-air refreshment kiosks or ice-cream sellers!
