Avignon Festival

Since its creation in 1947, the "Festival d'Avignon" has become one of the international references when it comes to theatrical creation and performances. Every year, the Festival "IN" presents 35-40 different shows, both French and foreign, for a total of over 300 performances. In parallel, the Festival "OFF" enables over 1000 amateur troups to appear everywhere in the city of Avignon on their own initiative.

Following in the tradition of festivals and games which were so popular during the Renaissance, the Domaine National de Chambord has invited three companies toperform a series of enigmatic and resolutely contemporary plays, which will entertain and surprise spectators from dusk until late into the night.

From Lyon to Carcassonne, a celebration of the performing arts

Every year, Lyon and Carcassonne attract performing arts enthusiasts with their numerous performances of theatre, music, dance, opera, circus and film. While the «Nuits de Fourvière» in Lyon (2 June to 31 July 2016) offers close to 100 performances in the majestic setting of the Fourvière archaeological park, the Festival de Carcassonne (19 June to 1st August 2014) invites well-known artists to perform every year in the equally stunning location of its medieval town.
