Triple Locked: Works from the Pinault Collection 75001 Paris fr

A Paris exhibit called "Triple Locked: Works from the Pinault Collection" will present the private collection of French businessman and patron of the arts François Pinault to the public for the first time.

The exhibit, curated by Caroline Bourgeois and emphasizing the theme of confinement, features nearly 50 works of art, many of which have never been exhibited publicly, from 22 artists working in installation, video, painting, sculpture, and photography. Visitors can explore the work of Michelangelo Pistoletto, Diana Thater, Bill Viola, Ahmed Alsoudani, Raphaelle Ricol, Damien Hirst, Julie Mehretu and Chen Zhen, among others.

The Conciergerie, where Marie-Antoinette was jailed, will offer an exploration of the collection based on two thematic axes: physical confinement, or detention, due to exterior factors (political crisis, violence, etc.) and personal confinement resulting from the relationship one has with oneself. The French word enfermement, at the heart of the exhibit, encompasses both meanings. This noteworthy exhibit will coincide with the famous FIAC (Foire Internationale d'Art Contemporain) art fair, to be held from October 24 to 27 at the Grand Palais in Paris.
