The Ballon d'Alsace, ski at the summit of the southern Vosges

The Ballon d'Alsace is located to the south of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Natural Park at the summit of the southern Vosges.

The resort is designed for all winter sports: alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, dog sledding and tobogganing.

It is particularly suitable for families. You can explore this natural area by cross country skiing thanks to the 6 alternate pistes and skating paths (40km) or by downhill skiing with 10 trails served by 9 lifts, one tow rope and 1 ski tow in the Gentaine snow garden.

It is also possible to explore Ballon d'Alsace by hiking or snowshoeing, and for the more active by paragliding or at the Acropark.

The Ballon d'Alsace ski school gives individual and group lessons in various forms of skiing.
