Rendez-vous in Rueil Malmaison 118 avenue Paul Doumer 92500 RUEIL MALMAISON fr

Located 8 kilometres west of Paris in the Hauts-de-Seine department, Rueil-Malmaison counts 77,000 inhabitants and is spread over 1,472 hectares on a gentle slope from the heights of Mount Valerien and the Buzenval hills to the banks of the Seine to the north.

The memory of the few years of happiness that Bonaparte and Josephine shared here is deeply rooted in the city of Rueil-Malmaison, a living memorial to this period of our history. In the historic city centre, which has retained its village character, stands the Church of Saint-Pierre Saint-Paul, a listed building.

The banks of the Seine, at the entrance of the Country of the Impressionists, unveil, even today, traces of their history. By frequenting the famous open-air cafés located along the banks of the river, many artists such as Renoir, Monet and Manet immortalized these landscapes in their most famous paintings.
