MANIGOD in the Winter

It’s the secret of happy skiing, thanks to the two skiing areas, La Croix-Fry and Merdassier, as well as the cross country skiing plateau of Beauregard, which links the ski runs to La Clusaz. At 1500m of altitude, Manigod has everything to offer those who enjoy skiing. The open views of the mountains with generous sunshine won’t fail to charm you. A family skiing area, ideal for learning and for improving. 25km  of marked runs of varying degrees of difficulty  : 3 greens, 14 blues, 8 reds, and 1 black, accessed by 17 ski lifts, together with snow canons, boarder cross and paret runs.

The Beauregard Plateau at 1500m of altitude, accessible by ski bus or car by the col de la Croix-Fry offers a cross country skiing area of considerable quality. Classic cross country, skating cross country, snow shoe outings, sled dogs, ski joering, allow you to enjoy the mountains in natural simplicity.

Let’s not forget Manigod’s speciality, the Paret, the famous sledge ‘Le Paret’, used in the past by children going to school, the Paret has become today a sport in its own right with a world championship, and a great atmosphere.... All winter there’s a paret run, with free access on the col de Merdassier allowing you to discover this unique form of sledging.

MANIGOD : the land of the warm welcome, gastronomy and heritage

To add the flavour of haute cuisine to your holiday, try out some gastronomic cooking put together with skill and passion. Our farmers and chefs will regale you with the famous Reblochon ‘fermier AOP’. This well being is rarely experienced anywhere else, but you’ll experience it when you’re comfortably seated at a terrasse where you can take in the grandiose mountainscape, the cows in their alpine pastures, the plentiful fauna, a return to simplicity, contemplation, and the happiness of sharing these moments with family and friends.

Land of heritage, Manigod reveals its customs in this perfectly preserved valley, thanks to it paths, chalets, chapels, and hamlets, which will take you back in time to the times of our ancestors.
